We are currently hiring for a FULL TIME CNC MACHINIST & PROGRAMMER

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

Minimum of a two year degree in machine tool technology, or 4 years experience

SKILLS NEEDED:

Setup, operate, edit and program CNC equipment

Perform jobs with verbal instruction 

Read and understand blueprints

Inspect parts to print

Determine the most cost effective tool usage and procedures for the job while maintaining quality and safety requirements

Determine machining/finishing operations, tooling and fixture requirements, operation sequence, procedures, quality and tolerance targets

Determine cutting speeds, feed rates, depth of cuts and cutting tools/holders to be used based on the knowledge of metal properties, shop mathematics, charts and tables

Determine tool life and machine adjustment requirements

Understand, generate and maintain job process documentation

Design and document fixtures and tooling

Use proper coolant testing and mixing procedures

Instruct operators on the procedures required to perform the job
